Privacy policy

We are established in the United States. We offer services to people in the European Union, so the GDPR applies to enquiries from the EU. This policy is the notice we give you when we collect that data.

keldrion.com consists of static pages and one form - the contact form on the home page. The site sets no cookies, carries no advertising, and has no accounts.

The site is served by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel processes standard technical request data - such as your IP address and user agent - in order to deliver the pages and protect the service against abuse. Vercel Analytics records aggregate traffic: page views, not a profile of you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and securing the site (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). You can object. For the logs that deliver the page, we may not be able to serve it without them.

Vercel's own handling of that data is described in Vercel's privacy notice. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The form asks for your name, your company, an email address, and which service you are interested in. A phone number and a note are optional. Name, company, email, and service are required, because we cannot reply without them. If you do not send them, we do not receive an enquiry.

We use what you send for one purpose: to answer you and, if you ask us to, to take the steps toward working together. The legal basis is GDPR Article 6(1)(b) - steps at your request before a contract. We do not add you to a mailing list. We do not sell or rent what you send. We do not make automated decisions about you.

The submission is delivered to our inbox as an email by Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.), which processes the message on our behalf and does not use it for its own purposes. We keep the enquiry for 24 months after the last message between us, then delete it, unless it has become part of a client engagement or the law requires us to keep it longer. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.

Resend is in the United States. It is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Transfers of enquiry data to Resend that are not covered by an adequacy decision are made under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses in Resend's data processing addendum. If the GDPR applies to you, you can ask us for a copy of the enquiry data we hold, to correct it, to delete it, or to restrict how we use it. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular the one where you live or work.

Kaimeter is a single executable that runs entirely on your own machine. It has no cloud component, no account, and no telemetry. Your data is stored in an embedded database on your device and leaves it only when you export or send it yourself.

If you contact us by email or through GitHub, we process what you send us for the sole purpose of replying, on the same basis and for the same period as a form enquiry.

The market chart on the home page is drawn from market data that the site itself fetches server-side from a data provider (OilPriceAPI). Your browser never contacts the provider directly; the chart sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts.

This site also links to services we use - LinkedIn and GitHub among them. Once you follow a link off this site, that service's own privacy policy applies.
