Tailoring

Sew leather and cloth into light armor, bags, and clothing. Tailors keep the economy clothed and expand every player's carry capacity.

Craftable items

  • Cloth armor: robes, hoods, boots (skill 0—60). Low defense, but can be enchanted.
  • Leather armor: studded, reinforced, scaled (skill 20—90). Balances protection and mobility.
  • Bags: small pouch (skill 0), backpack (skill 30), large pack (skill 60), merchant satchel (skill 90).
  • Clothing: decorative outfits, guild uniforms, cosmetic items (skill 0—80).

Material processing

  • Rawhide → cut into strips at 0 Tailoring.
  • Thin/sturdy leather → cured at 20 Tailoring.
  • Thick/hardened leather → tanned with oak extract at 40 Tailoring.
  • Reinforced leather → layered process at 60 Tailoring.
  • Dragonhide and above → alchemical treatment required at 80+ Tailoring.

Bag capacity scaling

  • Bag capacity = base slots × (1 + Tailoring / 100).
  • A backpack crafted at 100 Tailoring holds twice as much as one made at 0.
  • Master tailor bags can be dyed and renamed.
