Harvest raw materials from the world.
Mining
Press E while holding a pickaxe to mine ore nodes within your interaction radius. Nodes randomize on respawn — rarer ores appear less frequently. Your effective skill and pickaxe quality determine success.
Lumberjacking
Press E while holding an axe to chop trees within your interaction radius. Better wood grows in more dangerous regions. Your effective skill and axe quality determine success.
Fishing
Catch fish from oceans, rivers, and lakes. Deeper and more dangerous waters hold rarer catches with unique uses in cooking and alchemy.
Skinning
Harvest leather and hides from animal and monster corpses. Tougher creatures yield higher-tier leathers for advanced tailoring.
Forge, sew, and shape materials into goods.
Blacksmith
Smelt ores into ingots and forge weapons, armor, and tools. Every blade, shield, and nail in the world was made by a player blacksmith.
Carpentry
Shape wood into furniture, weapons, shields, and ship hulls. A master carpenter builds the vessels that let players cross oceans and trade between cities.
Shipbuilding is a branch of Carpentry. Skill determines hull quality, speed, and cargo capacity of crafted vessels.
Tailoring
Sew leather and cloth into light armor, bags, and clothing. Tailors keep the economy clothed and expand every player's carry capacity.
Weapon masteries and battle tactics.
Fencing
Mastery of blades and thrusting weapons. Fencing governs attack speed, precision, and parry chances with one-handed swords and rapiers.
Tactics
Combat strategy and positioning. Tactics increases damage, improves hit chance, and unlocks special maneuvers like feints and ripostes.
Swordsmanship
Mastery of heavy blades — greatswords, broadswords, and claymores. Swordsmanship trades speed for raw power, delivering devastating blows that cleave through armor and multiple foes.
Macing
The art of crushing force — maces, warhammers, and flails. Macing excels at breaking bones, shattering shields, and stunning opponents into submission.
Archery
Ranged combat with bows and crossbows. Archery rewards positioning, patience, and precision. A master archer can thin a crowd before the enemy reaches melee range.
Stealth, thievery, and misdirection.
Hiding
Vanish from sight while standing still. Hiding is the foundation of every thief's toolkit — successful ambushes start before the target knows you are there.
Stealth
Move silently while hidden. Stealth lets you creep past guards, stalk prey, and position for a backstab. Movement speed while hidden improves with skill.
Stealing
Lift items from other players and NPCs without being detected. Success depends on skill, target awareness, and the weight of the stolen object. Getting caught has consequences.
Music-based crowd control and support.
Discordance
Use jarring music to demoralize and weaken enemies. Discorded creatures deal less damage, move slower, and have reduced defenses. Effective in PvE and PvP.
Provoking
Taunt and enrage targets into attacking each other. In PvE, provoke monsters into fighting their own kind. In PvP, goad enemies into breaking formation.
Peacemaking
Calm aggressive creatures and de-escalate combat. Peacemaking can pause a fight long enough to retreat, reposition, or negotiate. Fails against creatures above your skill threshold.
Healing, taming, and utility disciplines.
Animal Taming
Befriend wild creatures and train them as companions. Tamed animals can fight alongside you, carry goods, or guard locations. Higher skill unlocks more dangerous beasts.
Physicianship
Heal wounds, cure poison, and treat disease. Physicians can bind wounds mid-combat and brew potent remedies. High skill means faster heals and less material wasted.
